As my business and personality evolve, I am constantly looking for new inspiration to meet me where I’m at in my life and in my business.
Thus, I have a new and updated podcast list for 2018. Some of them are business related, but most can apply to you no matter where you are in your life.
I wouldn’t be sharing them with you if I didn’t think they would add some value to your life.
I hope you enjoy and please feel free to share your favourite podcasts in the comments below! 🙂
My Top 10 Podcasts for 2018
1. Earn Your Happy by Lori Harder
Lori’s podcast has been at the top of my list for the last 2 years. One of my previous clients in Toronto had met her at a retreat and could not stop raving about her. She highly recommended I start listening, and ever since I did I’ve been hooked.
Lori’s podcast is all about personal growth in every area of your life. She built a multi-million dollar empire coming from a very religious, scarcity-mindset background.
Her vulnerability and complete realness will allow you to identify with her and her guests.
And one day it will finally click: If she can do it, so can you. The path to success is not going to be easy; it will be messy and hard, but it will be absolutely perfect for you.
If you want MORE out of your life, this podcast is for.
2. Goal Digger by Jenna Kutcher
I recently discovered this podcast and instantly fell in love with Jenna’s easy going personality, her drive for success and her hilarious sense of humour.
This podcast is all about achieving your goals in life and in business. I can resonate with pretty much every topic Jenna discusses: wether it comes from sharing your life online, your relationships, fertility struggles or business goals. I almost feel like Jenna knows exactly what I am thinking each week and then creates an episode around it!
I absolutely love her practical business tips and I think this podcast will be in my rotation for a long, long time.
3. The Tony Robbins Podcast
The Tony Robbins Podcast is literally amazing! A lot of the topics are business related but there are a few episodes that are related to health and other areas of life. Tony always brings on experts in the field so you can rest assured you are getting the best information possible.
Tony has opened my eyes to whole new way of thinking. If you haven’t listened to this guy yet, you need to. There is a reason he is the #1 personal development coach out there.
4. That’s So Maven by The Healthy Maven
Davida, the host of That’s So Maven podcast and voice behind The Healthy Maven blog, has been a huge inspiration to me when I started my blog and now still as it continues to grow.
She is from Toronto and has shown me what’s possible in the blogging world. She blogs and podcasts full-time and all of her topics resonate with me soooo much.
Wether it comes to body image, eating and exercising intuitively, natural skin care and just real life struggles, Davida knows exactly where I’m at!
She always has guests on that are at a similar place in life or their business so it’s always super interesting to hear their perspectives and to recognize that I share a lot of the same struggles and the same wins.
I highly recommend this podcast if you are looking for a down-to-earth podcaster who cares about all the same things you do.
5. Pursuit With Purpose by Melyssa Griffin
If you’re working in the blogging space and don’t know who Melyssa Griffin is, I highly recommend you check her out. She runs a successful online marketing business for bloggers called melyssagriffin.com.
She started the podcast, Pursuit With Purpose podcast after feeling trapped in the comparison game of running her own business. She knew there had to be more to life than just being successful in business.
Each week she brings on guests with new and inspiring perspectives that teach us how to live more meaningful and fulfilled lives. I love how grounding each and every one of Melyssa’s episodes are.
6. Don’t Keep Your Day Job by Cathy Heller
This is a new favourite of mine. I was honestly very skeptical of this podcast at first because there are so many ads. However, the content within the episodes is SOOO worth it!
Cathy is a singer and song writer who hustled her way to big brand record deals. Now as a successful mom, she interviews the most amazing guests from around the world.
The wisdom they share about following your passion and making it in the business world is beyond anything you’ll get in any other podcast.
If you are thinking about starting a side passion or are at the point where you want to pursue your dreams full-time, this podcast is an absolute must-listen!
7. The Ultimate Health Podcast
Marni Wasserman actually used to work right across the street from my old clinic in Toronto! I used to see her a few times a week and now being able to listen her each week is so surreal.
Her and her partner Jesse run The Ultimate Health Podcast where they interview and the world’s health experts to ensure they deliver the very best health advice to their listeners.
I love staying up to date on health trends, and this podcast allows me to do so without endless hours of research on my own.
If health hacks are something you are interested in, then you NEED to listen to this podcast!
8. For The Love of Money by Chris Harder
Chris Harder, husband of Lori Harder started this podcast earlier this year after reading 30 books in 30 days. In reading those books he found one common trend:
That in order to be successful, you need to GIVE.
His podcast is all about giving and living with an abundant mindset. He interviews some of the most successful entrepreneurs and asks them about their generosity.
Giving is something that most people do quietly as it’s poor taste to boast about something like that. But Chris is turning the tables on this idea and revealing the generous things successful people are doing so to inspire others to do the same.
If you feel like you need to work on your money mindset, then this podcast is for you!
9. How I Built This by Guy Raz
I landed on this podcast after listening to my TED talks and instantly fell in love with it.
Guy interviews big name businesses and leaders to reveal their journey from rags to riches. It’s so interesting to hear the journeys that entrepreneurs have went on in order to get where they are today.
Spoiler Alert: none of them were smooth sailing. It’s really inspiring to hear the hard work and perseverance that lead these companies to their big breaks.
If you have a great idea and want to start your own business, this podcast is for you!
10. The Influencer Podcast by Julie Solomon
I’ll be honest, I don’t LOVE this podcast, but as a blogger and influencer, Julie has some great tips and always shares the latest trends on social media.
I feel like this podcast is a must-listen of you are an online influencer. Otherwise, it won’t really apply to you.
The content alone in this podcast is what keeps me coming back week after week.
And there you have it! My top 10 podcasts for 2018. I hope you give these a listen and that they inspire you to do something magnificent.
